Key Responsibilities:
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify suppliers in accordance with company policies.
- Foster robust relationships with suppliers to ensure availability of high-quality goods and services.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage any issues with suppliers proactively.
Tendering and Proposal Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive tendering processes, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Coordinate the preparation of tender documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal and company standards.
- Evaluate vendor responses, assess bids, and provide recommendations based on price, quality, and service.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions following tender evaluations.
- Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
Sourcing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct market analysis to remain informed of industry trends and competitive pricing.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and sourcing opportunities.
Operational Procurement:
- Manage day-to-day procurement operations, including processing purchase orders and requisitions.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any delays or quality concerns.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping in procurement systems.
Financial Management:
- Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing cost forecasts and procurement insights.
- Monitor procurement expenditures and report discrepancies or variances.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
