Learning Support Specialist (Academic Curator) for Legacy Online School

We are currently looking for a dedicated Learning Support Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that our students achieve their utmost potential.

Role Summary:
As a Learning Support Specialist, you will serve as both an assistant and mentor to our students, ensuring that their academic journey is smooth and rewarding. You will be the primary point of contact for students and parents, providing timely support, guidance, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Onboarding Preparation: Review students' academic records and IEPs.

Initial Meeting: Schedule and conduct meetings with students and parents to discuss available support services.

Trial Week Set-Up: Facilitate the setup of accounts, ensure all materials are accessible, and follow the Trial Day Workflow protocol.

Educational Process: Hire and manage teachers, coordinate with them on schedules, and address any technical queries.

Attendance and Monitoring: Supervise trial weeks, ensuring student engagement and performance meet standards.

Support and Collaboration: Provide learning support during trial weeks and liaise with teachers for student progress.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students and parents, then share insights with relevant teams for continuous enhancement of services.

Onboarding: Oversee the entire onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration for students and families into the Legacy Online system.

Learning Support: Monitor and report on student progress, providing technical assistance for students within the online learning system.

Key Duties:

• Engage with parents and students regarding academic concerns through various communication channels.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on student performance and progress.
• Offer technical support for the online learning platform.
• Guide clients on enrollment documentation, tariff changes, bill payments, etc.

Requirements:

• Proficient English skills, both written and spoken.
• Prior experience in the educational market.
• Advanced user of Google docs.
• Familiarity with Chat GPT.
• Exceptional communication abilities.
