We are looking for a dynamic and business savvy Media Manager to manage the planning of our media strategy, across CAC & Iran: CAC focus markets are Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. Less focus markets are Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.
This person will be responsible for planning and executing integrated, consumer-centric campaigns that will build the equity of our brands and drive growth.
You will manage media planning and buying across all channels while also working closely with the shopper and brand marketing teams to deliver best-in-class integrated campaigns. By working closely with the internal teams, external agencies, and regional counterparts, you will elevate our brands visibility. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our iconic global and local brands in CAC & Iran.
What you´ll do:
Media Strategy, Planning & Buying:
· Manage media buying strategy and execution, including oversight of media offers, deal negotiations, and managing media agency relationships ensuring cost-effective and impactful media investments.
· Partner with media agencies to manage media planning, buying, optimisation, and performance tracking
· Manage the development and execution of media strategies across all channels (TV, digital, social, OOH, etc.) to support brands and business objectives as per Modern Marketing principles.
· Ensure alignment of media plans with brand (ATL) and commercial/shopper teams (Retail Media/BTL).
· Champion innovation and test-and-learn media opportunities within our internal Experimentation@Scale process.
· Manage relationships with external media partners such as Google, Meta, Tiktok etc.
Media Tools & Reporting:
· Manage media tools such as Henkel Media City (HMC) & Henkel Open, to support efficient media planning and reporting.
· Provide key reports, including competitive analysis, flowcharts, and post-buy reviews, to track and improve media performance.
· Provide, track and manage data for measurements and internal tools
· Manage tracking tools to drive accountability for performance KPIs, including reach, engagement, conversion, and sales uplift.
· Handle ad hoc requests like creating decks for senior management, media insights, and performance data.
Budget & Performance Management
· Champion coordination and tracking of the full marketing budget (monthly closing and forecast) by working closely with the brand and category teams to ensure effective budget management.
· Oversee the process of raising media POs and tracking expenditures, ensuring alignment with KPIs and financial targets for all media activities.
· Ensure invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
· Foster strong collaboration with Brand, Sales, Finance, Regional & Regional / Global stakeholders.
· Lead collaboration across media stakeholders to deliver timely, on-budget briefs that meet strategic goals.
· Guide senior stakeholders with compelling insights, data, and recommendations.
5 years’ experience in media strategy, planning, and execution, ideally within FMCG / international media agencies.
Advanced or Fluent in English.
Proven track record managing integrated campaigns across all channels.
Strong experience in integrated communication planning
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and agencies with clarity and influence.
Deep understanding of CAC & Iran media landscape, consumer behaviour, and retail environment.
Analytical mindset with experience using media analytics, MMM, and other measurement tools.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
