Role Overview
As a Retention Manager, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with active clients, reducing churn, and maximizing client lifetime value.
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with ARC’s global team.
You will work directly with ARC’s internal admin panel, closely monitor trading activity, and identify opportunities to upsell additional services while solving client issues quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Client Retention & Growth
• Actively manage relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Identify clients at risk of churn and take proactive steps to re-engage them.
• Build personalized growth strategies to increase trading volumes and client revenue.
Upsell & Expansion
• Analyze client activity and develop tailored upsell and cross-sell strategies (e.g., expanding to new exchanges, or helping projects with marketing and other services.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to convert upsell opportunities into new revenue streams.
Admin Panel & Data Monitoring
• Use internal admin panel to track client performance and trading operations.
• Set up workflows, triggers, and reporting to identify issues or new opportunities in real time.
• Provide structured feedback to improve client onboarding and internal processes.
Problem Solving
• Investigate client concerns related to trading, liquidity, or performance metrics.
• Work closely with Trading and Sales teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on market conditions and strategy optimization.
Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor and report on retention metrics:
• Active traders
• Churn rate
• Client lifetime value (LTV)
• Upsell conversion rates
• Share actionable insights and suggest improvements to leadership.

Requirements
• Experience:
• 2+ years in crypto trading, market making, or brokerage/fintech environments.
• Prior experience in client retention, account management, or sales.
• Trading Knowledge:
• Understanding of order books, spreads, liquidity management, and trading mechanics.
• Familiarity with both CEX and DEX ecosystems.
• Technical Skills:
• Comfortable working with admin panels, CRM systems, and dashboards.
• Data-driven mindset; proficiency in Excel and Grafana tools is a plus.
• Sales & Upsell Skills:
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities and present value-added solutions to clients.
• Experience preparing customized proposals and closing upsell deals.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and client-first approach.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Language:
• English — Upper Intermediate or higher.
• Additional languages (Russian, Chinese, etc.) are a plus.
