THE JOB PURPOSE:
Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain operations. Ensure the timely delivery of goods, proper documentation handling, effective coordination with forwarders, customs brokers and distributors, and continuous optimization of logistics processes. This role also involves financial planning, participation in tenders, reporting, and preparing materials for executive meetings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods from suppliers to warehouses or distribution points.
- Manage and verify shipping and customs documentation for compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and distributors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Handle claims and disputes received from distributors in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in the tender process for selecting carriers and logistics partners, including evaluating offers and contract terms.
- Allocate and distribute shipping requests and transport orders across selected logistics providers.
- Develop and manage the customs clearance budget, including forecasting duties and fees.
- Prepare regular financial reports on customs clearance-related expenditures.
- Maintain and update internal tracking tables, shipment schedules, and delivery status dashboards.
- Prepare and present monthly reports and presentations for management and cross-functional team meetings.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization across the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local/international trade regulations.
Experiences & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain / logistics / foreign trade is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, international trade, logistics, or a related field
- Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English both written and verbal and Turkish will be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- SAP and Microsoft Office programs, with advanced Excel skills
