Qt/QML C++ Developer (GUI for 3D Animation Software)

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, 11×11, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

We are looking for a Qt GUI Developer to join the Cascadeur team.

Cascadeur is a 3D animation software that incorporates AI-assisted and Physics-based tools. Games like Vector and Shadow Fight, with a total of over 400 million downloads, were made with the help of Cascadeur. They feature high-quality animation for which they became well-known. The software is an exclusive development of Nekki and until now has been used as an in-house project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interface and visual components for the character physics-based animation editor Cascadeur

• Estimate tasks, design local architecture, and plan solutions

• Implement features, conduct code reviews, and maintain developed components

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role at a product company

• Strong knowledge of C++

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles

• Experience developing GUIs with Qt QML

• Familiarity with design patterns

What would be a plus:

• Understanding of basic principles of 3D graphics

• Experience with Conan, CMake, and GitLab

• Skills in cross-platform application development
