Network Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will play a key role in ensuring network performance, security, and availability, while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with other IT professionals. This position requires both strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal users and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement secure and scalable network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)

• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability

• Troubleshoot complex network issues (Firewall, VPN, Wi-Fi, Routing/Switching)

• Manage and maintain network security tools, including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems

• Conduct performance testing, capacity planning, and firmware upgrades

• Install patches, service packs, and updates on network equipment

• Document network architecture, configurations, and processes

• Mentor junior network engineers and support knowledge sharing

• Coordinate with users and headquarters engineers on network-related matters

Requirements:

• 5–10 years in network administration or engineering roles

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Required: Cisco CCNA and CCNP

• Preferred: Cisco CCNP Enterprise

• Strong knowledge of enterprise network design and architecture

• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and VPNs (IPsec, SSL/TLS)

• English level: B1 or higher

• Able to read technical documentation and communicate with users and HQ engineers

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Leadership and mentoring experience

• Good time management and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware (routers, switches, access points)

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)

• Proficient in troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues

• Experience with network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)
