AVO SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY team is developing a new technologically advanced retail bank in the Uzbekistan market. The core concept of the service is that clients can independently access all banking services through a mobile application and self-service devices.

Total Rewards Strategy and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement global compensation strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, market trends, and pay equity goals, while conducting market benchmarking to ensure competitive practices.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align rewards initiatives with our values and growth objectives.
  • Evolve our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to reflect the needs of a modern, remote, and global workforce in the technology space.
  • Oversee salary structures, incentive programs, and the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus allocations.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and compensation analyses to ensure fair and attractive pay practices. Support Talent Acquisition by providing timely market benchmarks and guidance for new roles and job offers. Support the rollout and improvement of performance-related reward systems and employee recognition programs.
  • Develop and manage the budget for group-wide compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct cost analyses to evaluate financial impacts and collaborate with finance and HR Ops teams for accurate forecasting and financial reporting of related expenses.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Provide data-driven insights, reporting, and recommendations to support strategic planning and workforce development.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure the IS facilitates key processes like compensation reviews and benefits enrolment.
  • Analyze IS data to generate regular and ad hoc reports that offer insights into compensation trends, benefits utilization, and workforce metrics.

Rewards, Recognition and Compliance:

  • Design and manage global job architecture and compensation structures that are scalable, competitive, and equitable.
  • Provide guidance on compensation and rewards decisions, such as job evaluations, offers and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations across all entities and recommend policy adjustments in response to regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks associated with C&B administration. Manage audits and ensure compliance.

Systems Management and Optimization:

  • Own and optimize the systems used for compensation and benefits tracking, ensuring scalability for a growing global team.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the IS to support compensation, benefits, and broader HR functions.
  • Manage system upgrades, integrations and provide training and support to HR teams and Managers on effective system use.

Benefits and Employee Wellness Program Management:

  • Design and oversee global benefits programs including health insurance, relocation, wellness, and other benefits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors while ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs that promote employee well-being and work-life balance, and recommend benefits adjustments based on employee feedback and market trends.
  • Work closely with other HR and Workplace teams to ensure connectivities and seamless flow throughout with Employee Experience Journey from hire-to-retire.

Communication and Training:

  • Partner with internal communications to ensure that details and changes to compensation and benefits programs are effectively conveyed.
  • Design and lead information sessions and training programs for employees and managers on best practices and policies.

Cvalification requirments:

  • Previous experience in Compensation & Benefits area of at least 7 years within international large enterprise (Fortune500, blue chips and similar): end-to-end people cost management, salary reviews, STI, LTI, salary surveys, job grading, total rewards strategy
  • Fluent Russian, and at least B2 level of English (both written & spoken). Uzbek knowledge will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in the field of HR and labor legislations
  • People Leadership Experience of at least 3 years
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights, reporting & management presentation experience
  • Proficiency with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g., BambooHR, Mercer IPE, etc.)
  • Previous Finance Analytics experience will be highly appreciated
  • Oriented towards continuous improvement of the activity, self-starter and self-learner
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented,with experience leading collaborative initiatives and overseeing project execution
  • Advance Excel, BI, Google Sheets Skills
