Juru is seeking a Commercial Manager/Specialist to support the Sustainability Business Unit (SBU) in managing financial operations, contract oversight, procurement activities, and risk monitoring. This role is essential to ensuring that SBU projects operate with financial transparency, contractual compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:
- Review and verify external client contracts to ensure alignment with agreed commercial proposals, including payment milestones, VAT conditions, fee rates, and scope;
- Prepare sub-consultant contracts and Task Orders based on framework agreements; track their status and ensure timely updates;
- Monitor incoming payments from clients and outgoing payments to subcontractors; liaise with Project Managers to align invoicing schedules with milestone completion;
- Flag financial risks, delays, or inconsistencies and communicate them proactively to the relevant internal stakeholders;
- Support project pricing and cost recovery by advising on appropriate rates, reimbursables, per diems, and accommodation costs, based on past project experience and client expectations;
- Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure procurement follows company policy and meets technical needs;
- Monitor and track the financial performance of ongoing projects, comparing actual expenditures against budgets and identifying deviations early;
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure cost inputs in proposals are accurate and reflect realistic delivery conditions;
- Analyze project performance data to identify systemic issues in pricing, contracting, or budgeting, and contribute to continuous improvement processes;
- Summarize financial insights and lessons learned, and contribute to refining internal budgeting and BD practices;
- Support the preparation of financial sections of project reports or audits where needed.
Key requirements:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, contracts administration, or commercial operations within consultancy or project-based sectors;
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles, invoicing, procurement, and financial compliance;
- Experience working with international donors or IFIs (such as EBRD, ADB, IFC) is a strong advantage;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and accounting/reporting tools; familiarity with Asana or similar project tracking platforms is an asset;
- High attention to detail and analytical thinking;
- Proactive communication and coordination skills in cross-functional teams;
- Fluency in English and Russian (both written and spoken) is required; Uzbek is an asset;
- Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and process orientation.
