Data analyst

Important Note:

The employer for this vacancy will be the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the selected candidate is expected to work on the Ministry premises.

Responsibilities:

• The scope of the services required from Data Analyst will include:

• Data Collection and Management:

  Collect and manage data from various sources within the digital health ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  Develop and implement data collection methods and tools, collaborating with IT professionals and stakeholders for seamless data integration.

• Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  Analyze collected data using statistical methods and data visualization techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to DHMU's goals and projects.

  Support performance monitoring and evaluation activities by analyzing data to assess the effectiveness and impact of digital health initiatives.

  Identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance project outcomes and optimize resource allocation.

• Reporting and Visualization:

  Develop reports and dashboards to present data findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner, facilitating informed decision-making.

  Communicate data findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

• Collaboration and Support:

  Collaborate with DHMU team members, project managers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide relevant data-driven insights.

  Contribute to the development and implementation of a data management strategy for DHMU, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.

• Continuous Learning:

  Stay up-to-date on advancements in data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices within the healthcare sector.

• The successful offeror shall meet the following minimum qualification criteria. Not meeting these criteria automatically leads to disqualification from the recruitment process:

• Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Proficiency in Uzbek and English.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field.

• EVALUATION CRITERIA:

  General qualification:

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (holding additional professional education or advanced training programs in relevant fields is beneficial).
• Years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or IT sector.
• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, including databases, data warehouses, and data visualization software.

Other experience:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Experience in using data visualization tools and creating compelling reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and terminologies is beneficial.

Other skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data insights to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide relevant solutions.
