As a Contract Specialist, you will: - Serve as the primary contact for clients, KPMG internal teams, and service lines on all contractual matters.
- Actively drive the contracting process. Draft contracts using KPMG templates and review/analyze third-party templates (service agreements, subcontracts, NDAs, etc.).
- Coordinate internal approvals for non-standard terms (Engagement teams, Legal, Risk, Finance, etc.).
- Review and negotiate business terms and amendments throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate and timely contract signing.
- Provide training and coaching to KPMG teams on contract management best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve contracting processes and templates, incorporating changes in legislation and KPMG global policies.
- Support implementation of a contract management system, including LegalTech solutions.
- Prepare contracts for tenders and commercial proposals.
- Maintain organized storage of contracts and related documentation. Liaise with tender team on preparation of tender bid packages.
- Draft and monitor acts of services delivery, invoicing, and cash collection at the conclusion of engagements.
You’re the perfect match for this role if you: - A bachelor law degree with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (Kazakhstan legal environment)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, with advanced drafting and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in a contract manager or similar role is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload.
