Bidding & Estimating Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Estimator to join our remote team. This position plays a key role in supporting our bids and estimating department through document preparation, technical take-offs, platform management, and coordination with both internal teams and external partners.

Fully remote position
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (NY time)
Type: Full-time, long-term

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor bid platforms daily to identify relevant projects involving glass partitions, aluminum, or steel systems.

• Perform accurate take-offs from architectural and shop drawings (focus on doors and partition openings).

• Interpret door schedules and hardware sets to ensure compatibility and completeness.

• Communicate with the sales team to clarify project scope and technical specifications.

• Request and submit documentation such as vendor qualification forms, subcontractor info, and compliance packages.

• Complete company registration and prequalification tasks on platforms (e.g., Procore, BuildingConnected).

• Coordinate with insurance brokers to obtain project-specific certificates.

• Prepare detailed and clear quotes, including material lists, exclusions, assumptions, and scope of work.

Requirements

• Fluent in Russian and English

• 1–2 years of experience in a technical or estimating role

• Education in engineering OR equivalent hands-on experience with architectural drawings and take-offs

• Strong ability to read construction drawings and hardware sets

• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at once

• Flexible and proactive in communication and time management
