Legal Manager

Responsibilities:

• M&A transaction structuring and support. Drafting of mortgages, option agreements, pledges, disclosure letters, joint ventures, etc.
• Complex legal advice in pre-, post-closing restructuring projects
• Team management in legal due diligence assignments and corporate procedures (business set-up and day-to-day support)
• Legal consulting on various issues commercial law of Uzbekistan
• Communication with clients and maintaining successful client relationships
• Coaching and performance management of junior staff
• Monitoring quality of services and advice
• Participation in marketing activities of the firm

Requirements:

• At least 6+ years of experience in Big4 or reputable law firm
• Strong academic skills in Uzbekistan business law
• Proven experience in corporate/M&A, including transaction documents drafting and negotiations support
• Team management experience
• Fluent English, Russian and Uzbek languages
• Strong communication skills
• LL.M. degree is an advantage
• A bachelor degree in law from a leading university;
• Sound knowledge of Uzbek legislation and international business law;
• Strong analytical skills, attention to details and ability to use legal databases and other sources of information;
• Experience in working as part of a team, with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships;
• Ability to manage several assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism in all dealings;
