Role Title: Pre-Sale Strategist \ Account Manager

Department: Account Management

Reports To: Global Account Lead

Markets: EMEA (CIS), LatAm (Brazil and Mexico)

Role Purpose

The Pre-Sale Strategist plays a vital role in crafting winning proposals and presentations that help Uplify secure and grow client relationships.

This role combines market knowledge, a deep understanding of Uplify's solutions, and a creative approach to position Uplify as the ideal partner for brands seeking innovative livestreaming campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Client and Market Insights

  • Research: Dig deep to learn about potential and existing clients, including their brand, audience, goals, and past campaigns.

  • Industry Analysis: Track trends, competitors, and what's happening in the livestreaming space within the target market.

  • Audience Understanding: Build profiles of who Uplify's campaigns can best reach, including their interests and online behaviors.

    How We Measure Success

    • The in-depth information provides a strong starting point for proposals.
    • The Sales team is more knowledgeable about clients, leading to better pitches.

Proposal and Presentation Development

  • Tailored Messaging: Develop compelling stories that connect Uplify's solutions to the specific needs of each client. This includes proposing the best combination of Uplify products (sponsorship in livestream, interactive, performance formats, Uplify Link, etc.) to achieve client goals.

  • Creative Ideas: Suggest innovative campaign ideas, angles, and unique integrations within livestreaming, leveraging the full range of Uplify's offerings.

  • Data + Stories: Use data points, case studies, and relevant market insights to tell Uplify's story in a convincing way, showcasing the value of different product combinations.

  • Design Coordination: Work closely with designers to shape the structure, flow, and look of proposals and presentations.

    How We Measure Success

    • More proposals and pitches are won.
    • Sales team gives positive feedback on the strategy and quality of materials.

Collaboration and Team Support

  • Meeting Participation: Attend meetings with Sales when presenting Uplify to new potential clients, and with the Account team when proposing new approaches to existing clients.
  • Sales Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with Sales Managers and Account Managers to understand client needs, refine strategies, and create custom proposals.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share insights and best practices with the broader Sales team.
  • How We Measure Success
    • Strong, collaborative relationships evidenced by positive feedback from the Sales team.
    • Sales successes directly attributed to strategic insights and proposal development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Proposal Win Rate: Percentage of proposals developed that result in secured deals.
  • Sales Feedback: Regular qualitative and quantitative feedback from the Sales team on the quality, strategic value, and effectiveness of pre-sale materials.
  • Contribution to Sales Growth: Directly attribute sales wins or revenue growth to insights, strategies, and materials developed by the Pre-Sale Strategist.
  • Time Efficiency: Timely development and delivery of proposals and presentations, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the sales process runs smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar strategic role within a digital agency, media organization, or ad tech company.
  • Understanding of marketing, branding, and how to develop campaigns.
  • Excellent research, analysis, and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong creative thinking with the ability to turn ideas into compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
