DevOps / SRE Lead

The Lead GCP SRE/DevOps Engineer will be responsible for leading the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps functions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with GCP, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment strategies and automation.
• Proactively monitor system performance, anticipate potential issues, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment of goals and efficient workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on cloud provisioning practices.
• Implement and advocate for SRE best practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate the latest technology advancements, ensuring scalability and agility.
• Navigate complex corporate environments, aligning technical operations with broader business goals.

Fundamental Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud-Native Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps.
• Expertise in using Terraform to manage infrastructure within GCP.
• Expertise in GCP Cloud Build.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows, building pipelines, and reusable workflows.
• Knowledge of security best practices and diligence in ensuring the security of software releases.
• Advanced knowledge in Kubernetes, including cluster management and security policies.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture in a cloud-native environment.
• Solid understanding of network architecture and security protocols in healthcare.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience collaborating effectively across organizational boundaries, building relationships, and importing and exporting ideas to achieve broad organizational goals.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that drive executional impact at scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare business domain.
• Understanding of HIPAA Compliance.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with PHP.
