Product and Planning Manager

The new role of Product and Planning Manager is open for LC Waikiki Russia.

The workplace location is at LC Waikiki Headquarters in Istanbul

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To be a partner with internal business partners (Buying Management, Store Merchandising, Market Research) to gather all necessary inputs to create initial merchandise and demand plan that support the overall financial objectives
• Manage the financial sales, gross margin and inventory plans on a seasonal basis
• Being able to choose and combine products suitable for the Russian persona, occasion, climate/season based on experience and expertise, and to explain the reasoning based on the preferences of Russian customers and past experiences from the global LC WAIKIKI assortment
• Adapt the global commercial calendar for local market taking consideration local market trends and seasonal timing
• Being able to explain which of the global current trends, key items or colors are not suitable for the Russian customer, with reasons and experience-based data
• Being curious about the favorites and bestsellers on related marketplaces and websites of leading brands in the market, constantly following them and able to convincingly interpret why they sell well
• Constant review of competitors assortment, pricing and promotion activities. Adapt product and pricing strategy if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product and planning processes with deep understanding of assortment and range planning in fashion industry
• Having experience within a customer experience led/fast fashion fast paced background
• High quality and detail oriented, stress resilient and dedicated
• Responsive to sales stock profit data and able to understand and interpret them
• Having a high curiosity and willingness to learn, acting with a continuous research perspective
• Good communication skills, ability for empathy, being a team-player and humbleness
• Be native Russian speaker and advanced level of English is must
• Willing to relocate in Istanbul
• Having no obstacle to travel
