Your Mission
You will be in charge of supporting the business related to Company’s activity in Russia and Belarus.
Your responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts (incl. agency agreements, partnership agreements, marketing agreements, license agreements, etc.);
Ensuring compliance of Company’s activity with respect to all regulatory matters (transportation law, competition law, consumer protection law, data protection law, advertising, information law, etc);
Managing B2C and B2B pre-litigation and litigation matters;
Supporting corporate housekeeping matters for the group;
Advising HR team on employment matters;
Be a trusted advisor to the business, and provide critical legal and strategic input on a wide range of complex issues. Areas of particular relevance include, commercial contracts, consumer issues, data protection issues, advertising, transportation regulation, competition law, information law;
Cooperation with GR and PR teams and supporting them as needed (incl. analysis of legislation, revising statements, articles, etc.);
Compliance topics (incl. related to the EU sanctions);
Project management of corporate/compliance projects that include management of different teams (IT, finance, HR, product, etc.);
Drafting responses to state authorities’ requests on all relevant matters;
Managing data protection matters and being the Data Protection Officer for the group;
Revising advertising materials, CRM, product flow.
Your Qualifications
Law degree in Russia;
7-10 years of PQE (post-qualified experience). The ideal background includes a combination of private practice (law firm practice focused on commercial, IP/IT, corporate, litigation matters) and in-house experience with an online platform or transportation or a B2C/B2B company. Familiarity with transportation law is a plus but not mandatory;
Highly motivated, creative, entrepreneurial, and laser-focused on the details; able to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating as a team to stay in sync and working independently to get the job done;
Fluent written and spoken English;
Strong cross-functional leadership and management skills;
Proactive, hard-working and solutions-oriented;
Excellent business judgment.
