Proofreader/General copywriter

Lanck Telecom team has been working on global telecommunication market for more than 20 years. Our main projects are related to the development of solutions for international operators, voice data and SMS services. And also we create unique niche products for our clients.

You will:

• Check all materials, created by the Content Team, for language norms and linguistic correctness

• Research the telecom and communications industry, learn about the company`s telecom products and solutions to craft the messaging and framing for our products information that will resonate with a niche audience

• Review the choice of wording to ensure it is clear and comprehensible to all users

• Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing

• Help to maintain our standards in content creation and delivery

• Have an integral role in the Content Team and have as internal customers:

  • Product Teams for materials that are on the marketing side

  • Marketing Team for the copywriting materials

  • You will also be a part of the permanent peer review process of all the content materials going through the Content Team

Skills & experience we look for:

• Native English (US) speaker

• Effective experience in copy-editing and proofreading (over 3 years)

• Proficient experience interviewing and working with product managers, developers and other team members

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• A keen eye for detail and accuracy

• Stickler for meeting deadlines, even when working on multiple projects at a time

• Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs, PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat

Additional expertise that would help:

• 3+ years of copywriting experience

• Knowledge of CAT systems and ability to work with bilingual files (SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc.)

• Knowledge of website content management systems and QA software (spell checkers, XBench, Verifika, etc.)
