Due to the goal to strengthen and develop our local product portfolio we are looking for candidates for Raw Materials Development Specialist (R&D department) position in Laundry & Home Care business direction.
Reports to: Raw Materials Development Manager
Your role:
- To lead the alternative raw materials (RM) research, selection, and onboarding projects in scope of quality and technology in close cooperation with Purchasing Department and Supply Chain (Production&Quality).
- To define all relevant success criteria of potentially applicable RM for the supplier and align the testing and approval process among all involved parties, internally and externally.
- To monitor and analyze innovative raw material development, relevant for the detergents industry
- To update the R&D community with RM-relevant news, insights and developments from the science institutes, local and foreign suppliers and the industry.
- To initiate and participate in existing and new RM suppliers’ audits and to control improvement actions if needed.
- To organize the analytical testing of the new RM at internal and external laboratories and institutes.
- To participate in cost-chase activities, involving alternative RM onboarding.
Your skills and competences:
- Bachelor`s/master’s degree in biology/microbiology/chemistry
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and analysis of documentation for chemical raw materials
- Knowledge of global and local chemical market, work experience with local raw materials suppliers
- English level: Intermediate and higher
- Strong analyst, good communicator, and team player
- Attentive to details, multitasking, creative, target-oriented person with respect for quality and timing.
- Participation in processes of creation and maintaining of chemical databases will be a plus
- Laboratory work background or as a technologist will be a plus
