Team Lead Fraud Analyst

Lanck Telecom team has been working on global telecommunication market for more than 20 years. Our main projects are related to the development of solutions for international operators, voice data and SMS services. And also we create unique niche products for our clients. Lanck Telecom is a distributed team of professionals, using modern technology stack and all actual tools for effective work.

We are looking for a team lead of fraud analysts to join the team and to participate in a large long-term project: the development and support of a product for detecting fraud in telecommunications traffic.
The project is at the stage of rapid growth: a team of developers, analysts, mathematicians and data scientists has been formed, MVP has been put into operation. The product is already provided to 130+ international operators, including the largest telecoms.
We need a strong team lead who is able to lead a group of fraud analysts and organize interaction with other team members, who knows the subject area (fraud), and who is able to independently conduct a qualitative analysis of data and make decisions based on it.

Tasks:

• Lead a team of fraud analysts: initiate/conduct working meetings, decompose tasks and control their implementation, be responsible for the results of the team's work;
• Systematize the information received from fraud analysts and form the final results of the research;
• Communicate research results to system analysts;
• During the operation of the anti-fraud system, identify opportunities to improve its effectiveness;
• Be directly involved in the analysis of fraud cases and testing of improvements to the anti-fraud system (in terms of business logic).

• UI implemented in ReactJs
• We use Python for machine learning and Matlab for research in Math. statistics
• For fraud analysis we use our own software, as well as Excel/Google Sheets

Requirements:

• Experience as a team leader/head of an analytical group from 1 year;
• Experience in telecommunications/anti-fraud;
• Leadership skills, initiative;
• Extensive experience with data in Excel;
• Strong skills in information analysis/synthesis;
• Ability to interact constructively in a work team.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in the field of mat. statistics or big data;
• Experience in making presentations/writing analytical articles;
• Experience in marketing research, competitor analysis.
