DESCRIPTION:
ALNG2 Project consists on a fixed nearshore LNG plant with 3 process Trains located in Tazovsky District of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region (YNAR), Russia.
Main Construction strategy for each LNG Train includes topside modules to be fabricated in Local yard and international module yards and integrated on a GBS.
The Utilities Instrument Commissioning Supervisor responsible for Commissioning activities in his worksite reporting to the Utilities Instrument Commissioning Lead Engineer.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the Commissioning activities related to his worksite. He ensure activities are carried out in accordance with Safety, Health and Environment policy of the project.
- Ensure the technical integrity is achieved for instrumentation & systems activities.
- Liaises with the Subcontractor for the execution of the commissioning activities(in particular instrumentation related systems and packages).
- Prepare all the associated documentation for Commissioning activities and follow up in the completion data base.
- Ensure that the works proceed in conformity with the schedule and report any deviation to the Utilities Instrument Commissioning Lead Engineer.
- Responsible for safety, safe working practices and environment issues in all the areas under their control.
- Maintain a comprehensive log of activities and report progress to the Utilities Instrument Commissioning Lead Engineer.
- Coordinate the activities with Construction Supervisor, Subcontractor, field engineers and technicians.
- Ensure preparation & execution necessary to other discipline for their own tests as well as the relevant safety precautions organization (work permits, lockout/tag out, etc.).
- Supervise and coordinate loop checks performed by Subcontractors and verify the works are performed as per established procedures and good industry practices within the required quality level.
- Carry out the functional tests
- Coordinate the completion of punch list clearance with Construction and Subcontractor in areas under his control
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 5 years plus in Oil & Gas facility projects / Utilities and LNG Commissioning Start-up or Operation with experience in Instrumentation/Control system inspection testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of oil and gas instrumentation systems, PLC’s and control systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, handling a team of technicians .
- Problem identification & initiating changes to full implementation
- Driving HSE performance in the project execution
- To have technical vocabulary and very good level in English
