Translator / Interpreter

We are looking for a full-time translator who is excellent at synchronous and consecutive interpretation. If you are ready to work in fashion industry and eager to learn something new - then welcome to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Execute written translations for the Director of the Department and other Departmental groups, while ensuring compliance of the translations with the lexical, stylistic, and semantic content of the originals, compliance with the established requirements for the terms and definitions used;
• Interpretation (simultaneous and consecutive) of conversations and/or meetings held with the employees of the Department;
• Development and maintenance of a standardized glossary and dictionary of corporate terms for reference;
• Review and editing of translations made by other employees - upon request;
• Coordination of requested translations workload among Personal Assistants.

Requirements:

• Advanced language translation and interpretation;

• Document management skills;

• Ability to work with confidential (personnel) information;

• Apparel industry and market knowledge, specifically for sports and active wear;

• Apparel or accessories product development and/ or production knowledge;

• Results orientation: consistent implementation of business plans through ongoing controlling and monitoring of performance and results;

• Organizational skills: planning, priority setting, proper escalation, problem solving and decision making;

• Self-organization & motivation;

• Cultivate cooperation and networks to maintain trustful relationships and gain support of peers and encourage collaboration (internally or externally);

• Communication Skills (written & spoken): Interpersonal, responsiveness, active listening, feedback, adapting to your audience, transporting information clearly & effectively;
