Job Purpose

The Social Media Manager at Coventry University Kazakhstan is responsible for enhancing the university's digital presence by developing and implementing effective social media strategies that engage key audiences, including prospective students, current students, alumni, and staff. The role focuses on promoting the university’s brand, academic programmes, and events through compelling content, while fostering an active online community, driving engagement, and supporting the university's marketing and communication goals. Through analytics and collaboration, the Social Media Manager ensures a consistent and innovative digital presence that aligns with the university's overall mission, values, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with university goals and brand guidelines.

· Plan, create, and publish engaging content (text, visual, video) across primary social media platforms.

· Interact with the online audience, handle inquiries, and maintain a positive online reputation.

· Work with internal departments and external partners to support university news, events, and marketing initiatives.

· Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), track engagement, and prepare regular analytical reports.
