Electrical Engineer

CENTRAL ASIA LLC, an investment company of CEEC (China Energy Engineering Corporation) in Uzbekistan, is seeking a skilled, motivated, and results-oriented Experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team and support the execution of our 2026 project portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise, work alongside international engineering professionals, and contribute to the development of large-scale Solar Power Plants (SPP), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Power Projects (WP) across Uzbekistan.

The successful candidate will be involved in electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design review and technical coordination to installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Project Locations:

The selected candidate may be assigned to one of our projects in the following regions of Uzbekistan:

• Tashkent region - Almalyk Adolat BESS
• Tashkent region - Akhangaron BESS
• Andijan – BESS
• Fergana – BESS
  
  Key Responsibilities:
• Review and verify electrical engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Monitor the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the implementation of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, power cables, protection systems, grounding, and other relevant equipment.
• Participate in technical meetings, site inspections, troubleshooting, and resolution of engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, technical requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Review method statements, inspection and test plans, material submittals, and technical reports.
• Identify potential technical risks and recommend effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical records, progress reports, inspection reports, and commissioning documentation.
• Support project handover activities and ensure that electrical works meet the required quality and performance standards.
  
  Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related electrical engineering discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power generation, renewable energy, substations, BESS, wind power, or other power infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and relevant international standards.
• Practical experience in electrical installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, or site supervision.
• Ability to review technical documentation, identify engineering issues, and implement practical solutions.
• Familiarity with project quality requirements, HSE procedures, and construction site practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, international project environment.
• Good command of English is essential, as English is the primary working language. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
• Willingness to work at project sites in different regions of Uzbekistan and travel as required.
  
  Terms:
• Compensation for food (once time in a working day) according to the Company’s Policy
• Compensation for transportation (once time in a working day) according to the Company’s Policy
• 21 days of annual leave calculated on a calendar day basis
• Payable Sick leaves (only if the requested document is provided)
• Annual bonuses according to performance and company internal regulations
• 5/2 working schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
