Kazakhstan History Teacher

We are seeking to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Kazakhstan History Teacher.

Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to students’ learning. Candidates should also be able to adapt to new cultures and environments easily.

Responsibilities:

• Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Kazakhstan History lessons to suit the individual needs of all students;
• Teach and educate students according to their educational needs, abilities, and curriculum requirements;
• Develop students’ understanding of the history, culture, and development of Kazakhstan through engaging and interactive teaching methods;
• Promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and independent learning;
• Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents;
• Support the learning of individuals and groups of students, act as a role model, and set high expectations;
• Observe, record, and support the development and progress of students, providing constructive feedback on achievement and progress;
• Actively contribute to the wider life of the school by organizing and participating in extracurricular and academic activities;
• Plan lessons according to curriculum requirements and national/international standards;
• Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge;
• Be an active presence in the school community.

Our requirements:

• Higher Degree Diploma: History / Kazakhstan History;
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools;
• Required professional qualification: Teacher category — Expert / Researcher / Master level (or equivalent);
• Fluency in English is a must;
• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan History curriculum and modern teaching methods;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• High sense of responsibility and flexibility;
