Product Analyst

We're looking for a product-minded Product Analyst to help us understand how users discover, engage with, and pay for ChaChat — and to turn that understanding into clear decisions for product, growth, and monetization.

You'll own product analytics end-to-end: instrumentation quality, funnel and retention analysis, experiment design, and actionable insights for a high-velocity consumer AI product (iOS + web).

With 500+ AB tests running each year, subscription and in-app economy, and massive daily engagement, your impact will be immediate and tangible.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing

• Product metrics & funnels: Own core product metrics (activation, retention, conversion, LTV/CAC, feature adoption) and keep them trustworthy across iOS and web.
• Experimentation: Design, analyze, and communicate A/B tests; help the team ship decisions, not just dashboards.
• Growth & monetization analytics: Dig into onboarding, paywalls, subscriptions, and feature usage (including photo/image and other paid surfaces) to surface growth opportunities.
• Dashboards & self-serve insights: Build and maintain clear product dashboards (e.g. Amplitude / Superset) so PMs, eng, and leadership can answer questions without waiting on you.
• Data quality: Partner with eng to validate events, fix tracking gaps, and keep analytical pipelines reliable (SQL / warehouse / product analytics tools).
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, iOS/web eng, UA/marketing, and leadership to guide decisions with data.

🧠 What We're Looking For

• 1–3+ years of experience in Product Analytics / Product Analyst / Data Analyst roles (consumer / B2C preferred)
• Strong SQL and comfort with Python for analysis and automation (Airflow)
• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and experiment analysis
• Solid grasp of product metrics, unit economics, and A/B testing / experimental design
• You have your own AI-powered analytics harness and use it daily: agentic workflows that take you from a product question to a solid insight in minutes/hours
• You can pull together data from multiple sources (product analytics, subscriptions, attribution, warehouse) and turn it into clear, easy-to-read reports the team actually acts on
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-impact environment with eng and product

🌟 Nice to Have

• Background in subscription-based mobile B2C products or AI consumer apps
• Experience with Airflow, Postgres, ClickHouse, Superset (or similar stack)
• Familiarity with mobile attribution / subscription tooling (AppsFlyer, Adapty, RevenueCat, etc.)
• Experience partnering closely with PMs and mobile engineers on instrumentation and experiments
