LDAR Technician / Engineer

Support the project team in measuring methane emissions

• Participation in the preparation and planning of measurement campaigns
• Coordinate with the project team on the schedule and location of measurement points
• Ensuring timely implementation of the measurement plan
• Collection and provision of preliminary data for analysis
• Leak Detection and Monitoring – Field Verification
• Daily site visits to methane measurements and Perform LDAR inspections on oil and gas facilities, including: “Valves, Flanges, Connectors, Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Storage tanks, Pressure relief devices, Process equipment, etc.
• Operate and maintain methane detection and quantification equipment, including: “Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras, Quantitative Optical Gas Imaging (QOGI) cameras, Hi-Flow Samplers (HFS), Sensia gas imaging systems, Portable methane analyzers, GPS and field data collection devices, etc.
• Perform daily function checks, calibrations, and maintenance of monitoring instruments.
• Conduct methane emission surveys in accordance with OMGO 2.0 protocols and site-specific procedures. Ensure all equipment remains compliant and operational throughout project execution
• Detect, locate, and classify fugitive emissions using approved monitoring technologies.
• Verify leak repairs and perform follow-up inspections
• Use of specialized equipment for emission verification in accordance with the approved methodology
• Calibration and inspection of equipment before each measurement
• Precise documentation of all measurement parameters (time, place, conditions, indicators)
• Compliance with safety protocols when working at production facilities
• Provide Necessary Technical and Field trainings to specialists about equipment handling and measurement process. The trainings shall include online and offline based with field demonstration on taking the measurements, its reporting and documentation process.

• Minimum 5 years in the field of OMGP 2.0 LDAR Measurement Campaign

• Bachelor’s degree in Oil & Gas / Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering

• Proficiency in English, Russian Languages (Speaking, Writing)

• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies

• Good Experience, reading P&IDs and other plant plot diagrams.
