DURATION: One Year (renewable, subject to performance)

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a driver for a company, embassy, international organization, or similar institution.
• Minimum 10 years of driving experience.
• Valid driving license with Categories B and C.
• Good knowledge of Almaty city, including major roads and locations.
• Sound knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and professional driving etiquette.
• High level of punctuality, accuracy, cleanliness, responsibility, and courtesy.
• Basic knowledge of the English language.
• Professional driving, safety, or defensive driving certificates will be considered an advantage.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Driver/Messenger will provide transportation and administrative support services to the IsDB Regional Hub Almaty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Drive office vehicles for official and business-related purposes.
2. Ensure that assigned vehicles are kept clean, presentable, and in good operating condition at all times.
3. Arrange and monitor routine vehicle maintenance and repairs in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule.
4. Adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct expected of drivers serving an international organization, including:
   • Strict compliance with traffic laws and regulations;
   • Professional appearance and behavior;
   • Respectful treatment of passengers and stakeholders;
   • Maintenance of confidentiality;
   • Ensuring the safety and security of passengers, vehicles, and third parties.
5. Ensure that all required vehicle and driver-related documents, including the driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, and technical inspection certificates, remain valid and up to date.
6. Perform messenger duties, including the delivery and collection of official documents, correspondence, and other items as required.
7. Provide support in office administration and other operational tasks assigned by the supervisor.
8. Assist with office security-related responsibilities when required.
