Job Purpose:
The Admissions Specialist supports the delivery of an efficient, compliant and customer-focused admissions process from application to enrolment. The role contributes to smooth admissions operations and effective collaboration across the university, ensuring a positive experience for applicants and adherence to institutional and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operations of the Admissions Department, performing the full range of admissions duties in line with established policies, procedures and service standards.
- Process applications from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring accuracy, completeness of documentation, and timely communication with applicants.
- Support the admissions and enrolment of international students by ensuring accurate handling and verification of required documentation in accordance with institutional policies and local regulations.
- Ensure the timely preparation and provision of university-issued documents required for the registration and onboarding of international students, while maintaining accurate student records and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate applicant records and ensure all admissions documentation is stored and processed in accordance with institutional requirements and data protection standards.
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge of admissions policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to contribute to consistent and compliant practice across the team.
- Assist Head of the Department in the review and continuous improvement of admissions processes and administrative procedures to support operational efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor and respond to enquiries via the Admissions mailbox, ensuring timely responses and high customer service standards.
- Participate in staff training and support the effective use of admissions systems, tools and processes.
- Support the organisation and administration of State Scholarship processes in collaboration with university leadership and academic staff, ensuring accurate record management and timely processing of required documentation.
- Support colleagues by maintaining accurate records and organisation of Bitrix documentation, OneDrive folders, and other shared admissions resources.
- Take responsibility for the management, storage, and maintenance of applicants’ digital and physical files, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional requirements.
