Role Overview
Motion Designer in the Performance Marketing Creative Team.
Creates video ads for paid user acquisition for two company products (mobile utilities), working based on briefs from the Creative Manager.
Responsible for the creative flow from production to release: developing new concepts, creating variations of successful creatives, adapting assets to different formats and platform requirements, and keeping the library of ready-to-use creatives up to date.
The goal of the role is to maintain a stable volume of creative output while increasing the share of successful creatives.

Format of work: full-time role with flexible start times and a hybrid setup (4 days in the office, 1 remote)
Responsibilities
- produce video creatives, variations, and resizes based on briefs for performance marketing campaigns across different platforms: video editing, animation, sound design, voice-over, and subtitles;
- apply AI tools in the creative production process;
- automate your own workflow: create and optimize prompts, build templates and presets, use expressions, scripts, and plugins to speed up the production of variations and resizes;
- participate in creative brainstorms and creative performance reviews.
- regularly research competitor ads and top-performing creatives in the category: analyze direct competitors’ ads and market leaders’ creatives, and suggest new ideas and solutions;
- meet deadlines and quality requirements, ensuring a stable volume of creative production.
What We Expect from You
Hard Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in motion design, including at least 2 years creating performance marketing ads;
- English level B1 or higher: ability to read documentation, research references, and understand English-language creatives;
- experience producing different types of performance marketing videos: motion design, AI-generated content, UGC, AI UGC, 2D animation, screen recordings, educational formats, and animated banners;
- confident use of AI tools in production (video and visual generation, voice-over, upscaling, production automation) with regular hands-on usage, not just one-time experiments;
- strong skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro (or similar tools), basic knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator, experience using ready-made scripts and plugins, and basic sound design skills;
- understanding of core animation principles and experience with different animation styles: 2D motion, kinetic typography, UI and app animation, infographics, and simple 3D elements;
- compositing skills: tracking, keying, working with layers and masks;
- strong project organization skills: clear file structure, layer and file naming, composition hierarchy, and collecting and delivering project files according to established guidelines;
- understanding and following platform safe zones and creative naming guidelines;
- portfolio with performance marketing creatives.
Soft skills:
- independent and proactive approach, ownership of results, and ability to organize your own workflow and schedule;
- strong communication skills: able to explain and justify creative decisions and collaborate with the Producer and other Designers;
- strong attention to detail;
- openness to learning new tools and approaches, with a genuine interest in improving skills and exploring new ways of working;
- flexibility to switch between different tasks and products while maintaining quality;
- ability to work fast and stay disciplined while producing a high volume of creatives;
- constructive attitude toward creative feedback from the Creative Manager: sees revisions as part of the workflow and suggests effective ways to exchange feedback;
- ability to break down tasks, identify unclear points, and ask questions before starting work.
Nice to have:
- experience creating SMM videos for brands;
- experience writing scripts, creating storyboards, and shooting video footage;
- experience working with Rive and Lottie (JSON-based animations);
- basic understanding of key performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CR), what affects them, and how to apply insights to future creative iterations;
- experience with 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools;
- ability to write custom scripts to automate local tasks, including with the help of AI assistants;
