Tutor

Central Asian University is seeking a dedicated Student Group Supervisor (Tutor) to support students’ academic progress, personal development, and well-being. The role involves mentoring, monitoring academic performance, organizing educational and cultural activities, and fostering a supportive university environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise assigned student groups to ensure their academic progress and well-being.
• Monitor attendance, academic engagement, and overall student welfare.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students facing personal or academic challenges.
• Assist students in improving academic performance and organize support measures for at-risk students.
• Plan and facilitate educational, cultural, and spiritual activities (Ma’naviyat, Ma’rifat).
• Collaborate closely with student leaders, fellow tutors, and the Student Council.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and faculty as needed.
• Support the implementation of student well-being projects and initiatives.
• Prepare and submit regular reports, ensuring smooth coordination with the Student Well-being Department.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields.

• Experience:

Proven experience working with students or youth in educational institutions, mentoring, or youth development projects.

• Technical Skills:

Knowledge of attendance monitoring and academic performance tracking methods.

Event and project management skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and reporting tools.

• Soft Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people.

Empathy, resilience under stress, and the ability to build trust.

Teamwork and coordination capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supervising student groups or participating in educational projects.
• Fluency in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
• Flexibility and readiness to work in a dynamic university environment.

Working Conditions:

• Work schedule: 5/2, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
