Marketing Specialist/Специалист по Маркетингу (не SMM)

As a Marketing Specialist, you and the team of the business development department is responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies that promote revenue growth generation among key targeted segments and support the hotel’s brand positioning and image. Responsibilities may include leveraging and executing social media and website strategies in partnership with appropriate corporate brand marketing and hotel revenue management teams to achieve brand position and revenue growth goals.

What does MARKETING SPECIALIST do in a Hotel?:

• Proposes and implements hotel specific marketing strategies, including website and social media. Monitors marketing trends, tools, and applications specific to the hotel industry and target markets. Provides input to hotel marketing strategy. Creates different offers to the guests in collaboration with Department Heads.
• Creates and develops engaging content for the hotel’s social media channels, including Instagram, Reels, Stories and short-form video. Translates creative ideas and hotel offers into relevant visual and digital content in line with the Hilton brand standards.
• Ensures revenue management potential is maximized on key marketing strategies, including approved 3rd party websites. Generates and delivers monthly marketing analyses.
• Collaborates with Hotel Management on the development and execution of Public Relations strategies to drive revenue through the use media relations (print, TV, internet, and radio) and social media.
• Cultivates and maintains strong, positive media relationships on a national, regional, and local level through personalized pitches, face-to-face meetings and familiarization tours. Directly handle media requests, including developing pitch materials and providing media interview support. Develops compelling ideas for pitching stories to media. Maintains press materials and media site.
• Works collaboratively with internal teams to develop and promote special events to drive local and leisure business to the hotels. Develop promotions that are newsworthy.
• Independently produces and coordinates photo and video content for the hotel, demonstrating a strong visual sense and understanding of current social media, hospitality, lifestyle and content trends.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the General Manager or Commercial Manager.

What is REQUIRED for this position?

• Knowledge of Marketing fundamentals

• Ability to make presentations

• Practical experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut or similar creative tools

• Fluent level in written and spoken English, Kazakh, and Russian
• Developed communication skills
• Creative and critical thinking
• Be a good team player
