DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, distribution and market share to develop statistical forecasts and the Demand Plan.
- Partner with Sales, Finance and Operations to challenge assumptions, analyze forecast deviations and agree on the consensus Demand Plan.
- Collaborate with Finance & Sales to establish long term SKU portfolio management based on complexity and costs matrix.
- Support the monthly S&OP process and translate the consensus Demand Plan into the local Supply Plan.
- Develop weekly supply plans based on global supply, logistics and operational constraints.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent out-of-stocks and overstock, while maintaining healthy product age.
- Identify and resolve demand and supply imbalances and proactively highlight inventory risks.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and Days of Supply to ensure target inventory levels.
- Manage new product launches and SKU phase-outs.
- Maintain accurate Material Master Data and Purchase Price Variance.
- Collaborate with key customers and distributors to align forecasts and improve supply planning.
KEY RESULTS & DELIVERABLES:
- Provides correct long-term demand & supply planning depicted in global planning tools.
- Define and plan against an optimal inventory level in order to prevent OOS and overstock considering the market/supply chain volatilities.
- Continuous improvement suggestions and implementation through root cause analyzes within the Demand & Supply Planning process.
- Meet or exceed targeted KPI’s that include but are not limited to SKU Forecast Accuracy and Service Level.
- Establish a strong network and foster collaboration with internal customers, business units and Operations team members
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail accounts operations, forecasting technology, systems, market research data and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced Excel and strong SAP ERP / planning tools knowledge
- Strong leadership skills, can motivate and lead teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English
