Demand Planning Category Expert / Senior Planner (Supply Chain) — join a highly professional Planning Team

We’re looking for a planning professional with a solid FMCG experience developing Demand Forecasting with an optimized inventory strategy to meet sales and service objectives. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing and customer support teams is paramount to achieve these sales and service objectives. .

If you speak the language of forecast accuracy, bias analysis and cross‑functional alignment — we’d love to talk. International planning practices and integrated S&OP/IBP framework is an advantage.

📋 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain demand forecast on an 18‑month horizon, applying statistical methods and business insights. Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions)
• Identify gaps between financial target and volume sales plan via DMR cycle
• Manage the Constrained Demand Planning process to ensure that plans are established, monitored and reviewed in order to ensure efficient and timely distribution of products at Hub and Country level
• Resolve short/medium term supply constraints and mitigate risks of stockouts or excess inventory, production capacity, and lead times.
• Establish product lifecycle management discipline into forecasting process: new product launches, listings, SKU rotations, discontinuations.
• Ensure cross functional alignment and business ownership at multiple levels: Sales, Marketing, Production, Logistics, and Procurement — integrate business drivers into actionable plans and track commitments.
• Work with large database and ERP systems (SAP, 1C, or equivalent) is an advantage.

🤝 THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• 2-5 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to incorporate business insights into demand forecast.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, charts) — is mandatory requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, 1C, etc.) — a major advantage.
• Solid understanding of core planning concepts: statistical methods, inventory management, lead time variability, demand segmentation, ABC/XYZ classification.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration: challenge internal stakeholders to provide accurate data on time
• Fareless to challenge status-quo and force of proposal for continuous improvement of ways of working, processes & tools.
• International experience of planning approaches or global supply chain networks — is an advantage.
