We are seeking to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Computer Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year, which will commence on 24 August 2026.
Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to students’ learning. Candidates should also be able to adapt to new cultures and environments with ease.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to meet the individual learning needs of all students;
- Teach students according to their educational needs, abilities, and curriculum requirements;
- Deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science, including programming, computational thinking, algorithms, data representation, and emerging technologies;
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level Computer Science examinations (where applicable);
- Use innovative and technology-enhanced teaching strategies to promote problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking;
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement;
- Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents;
- Support the learning of individuals and groups of students, act as a role model, and set high expectations;
- Contribute actively to the wider life of the school by organizing coding clubs, STEM activities, competitions, and other extracurricular programs;
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, curriculum planning, and professional knowledge;
- Be an active and positive member of the school community.
Our requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Master's Degree is an advantage);
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school;
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level Computer Science is highly desirable;
- Fluency in English is a must;
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts, programming languages, and educational technologies;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong communication and classroom management skills;
- High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and flexibility.
