Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our production environments.

Important: This is a position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). Candidates must be available to work during these hours regardless of their location.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS.

• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including migration of manually managed infrastructure.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Support migration of applications to containerized environments using Docker and AWS ECS.

• Plan and execute AWS account and infrastructure migrations.

• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and improve infrastructure reliability following SRE practices.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

• Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency.

Requirements Core:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineer.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3,

• Route53, CloudWatch, and related services.

• Strong experience with Terraform.

• Experience with Docker and containerization.

• Experience with Ansible.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Experience supporting production environments, incident response, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Experience with AWS infrastructure and account migrations.

• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.

• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) or other container orchestration platforms.

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB), including backup, migration, and performance optimization.

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, or Datadog.

• Experience optimizing AWS infrastructure costs.

• Experience supporting multi-account AWS environments.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional, etc.).
