Метро: КупаловскаяUNICEF Belarus requires dedicated technical support to strengthen the generation, analysis, management and use of data and evidence related to children and adolescents. Under the supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, the consultant will support UNICEF Belarus in strengthening monitoring, data, research, reporting and knowledge management functions through analytical, technical and coordination support.
Key responsibilities:
Support the preparation of analytical products related to child rights, adolescent well-being and progress towards the SDGs. Conduct literature reviews, evidence syntheses, data analysis and research on emerging issues affecting children and adolescents. Contribute to the preparation of situation analyses, analytical briefs, policy notes and other evidence products to inform UNICEF programming and advocacy.
Support programme monitoring and results measurement activities through the collection, validation, analysis and interpretation of data related to UNICEF programme indicators and results frameworks. Contribute to corporate planning, monitoring and reporting processes, including annual reporting, results reporting and preparation of monitoring and performance summaries. Provide analytical support for regular monitoring and reporting requests from programme sections and management.
Provide technical support to the implementation of key data initiatives, including the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS), through the review of technical documents, reports and analytical outputs. Contribute to activities aimed at strengthening the availability, quality and use of child-related data and support collaboration with national partners and technical experts involved in data production and analysis.
Support the development of knowledge products that facilitate the dissemination and use of evidence within UNICEF and among national partners. Contribute to the preparation of briefing notes, presentations, summaries, evidence packages and other products aimed at translating data and research findings into actionable insights for decision-making, programme planning and advocacy.
Support the development of dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, infographics and other data communication products to enhance accessibility and use of programme results and evidence. Contribute to the presentation of data and analytical findings for internal and external audiences and support the development of user-friendly tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Liaise and coordinate with government counterparts, research institutions, data producers, technical experts and other partners involved in monitoring, research and data-related initiatives. Support consultations, meetings and follow-up actions required for the implementation of analytical, research and data projects.

Minimum requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Demography, Public Administration, Development Studies, International Relations, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Data Science, Information Management or other relevant fields.
Work Experience & Expertise & Skills:
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Russian.
