Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Geologist to support our geological and geotechnical projects through field investigations, data analysis, and report generation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of earth materials and processes, and experience with mapping, sampling, and interpreting geological data to support exploration, development, and environmental decisions. Relocation to Kuwait (contact for 5 months).

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility to provide Geological Prognosis of the pre-drill wells
• Well Correlation and Formation top picking correlating with offset wells
• Understanding in the structural framework updating
• Horizontal Well Correlation with the neighboring wells
• Responsible for quick map generation using the well data
• Timely Pore-pressure Analysis, Field or Well Report analysis
• Site visit and understand the surface location for well planning
• Analysis of Daily Geological Report (DGR) and Mudlog data
• Responsible to do basic well planning integrating sub-surface data and surface location

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles)
• 10+ years of professional experience in geological fieldwork, exploration, or environmental assessments
• Proficiency in geological software (e.g., DSG, DS Petrophysics, Petrel, Techlog or similar)
• Preferred Database understanding: OpenWorks, EDM, Studio
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
