Software test engineer (Python) | International Engineering Project

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (Python) to join an international engineering team developing software for complex safety-critical systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with solid commercial experience in software testing who are looking to grow within an international engineering environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and analyze system and software requirements
• Design and implement automated tests in Python as well as manual tests
• Execute functional, integration and regression testing
• Analyze test results and document testing activities
• Identify, reproduce and report software defects
• Support verification and validation activities
• Collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers and QA specialists
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools and automation

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Software Testing, Test Automation or Software Validation
• Solid Python programming skills (mandatory)
• Experience with both automated and manual testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• English B2 or higher (spoken and written)

• Experience with embedded or safety-critical software
• Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes
• ISTQB Foundation certification
• Experience in industrial automation, transportation or railway project
