Vacancy Summary: Project Implementation Support Staff

We are seeking temporary project support staff member to assist with the implementation of a solution in accordance with the contract requirements. The selected candidates will work on-site in close collaboration with French experts from SUEZ to support the preparation, coordination, and execution of project activities. The position is for 3 months (from August to October 2026).

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Comply with all applicable site safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
- Conduct site visits prior to PCA activities to inspect manholes and ensure they are clean, accessible, and suitable for the assessment work.
- Coordinate with the TSST team whenever cleaning or preparation of manholes is required.
- Follow up with relevant teams to ensure all manholes are ready before PCA implementation begins.
- Accompany French experts to project sites and assist in conducting Pipe Condition Assessment (PCA) activities.
- Support the installation and operation of specialized sensors on water pipelines through access manholes.
- Assist French experts with equipment installation, testing, data collection, and data recording activities.
- Perform assigned site tasks in accordance with the instructions and methodologies provided by the SUEZ experts.
- Provide regular progress updates and report to the SUEZ Tashkent Water Network Department as required throughout the assignment.
- Immediately inform the Water Network Department of any site constraints, access issues, safety concerns, or delays that could affect the project schedule.
- Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of project equipment, sensors, and monitoring devices.
- Perform other project-related duties assigned by the French experts or the Water Network Department.​​​​​​​

Required Qualifications:

- Intern or graduate (engineering-related education are preferred).
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Available to work full-time from August to October 2026.
- As the role involves extensive site work, we require male employees.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a field environment and follow instructions accurately.

Project: Tashkent water transformation plan
The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.

Main activity:
- Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard
- Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent
- Improve financial sustainability of the water service.
