As an Associate in the M&A team, the candidate will be involved in supporting transaction execution and business development activities, including:
- Preparation of marketing materials (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and investor lists);
- Financial analysis, valuation and financial modelling under supervision of senior team members;
- Conducting industry, company and market research across a variety of sectors;
- Assisting with preparation of pitches, proposals and client presentations;
- Supporting execution of M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements;
- Coordinating with clients and other PwC teams as required;
- Assisting in preparation of reports, financial analyses and other transaction-related deliverables;
- Maintaining high-quality project documentation and supporting engagement management activities.
Knowledge and experience:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field with GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0;
- Approximately 1–3 years of professional experience in M&A, transaction services, valuation, audit, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting or other analytical and financial roles;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- Basic understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts;
- Experience with financial modelling and/or valuation is an advantage;
- CFA, ACCA or other professional qualifications (or progress towards them) are an advantage;
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Strong written and spoken English and Russian.
