AI Automation Engineer

Andersen is hiring an AI Automation Engineer for a project developing AI-driven automation solutions and enhancing business planning through scalable machine learning technologies.

The customer is an international mobility service provider offering a peer-to-peer model that allows users to negotiate travel conditions directly within the app. With a large global user base and operations spanning numerous cities worldwide, the organization is recognized for its focus on flexibility, accessibility, and the adaptation of its platform to diverse market environments.

The project is focused on developing AI and machine learning solutions to improve strategic planning and operational decision-making. It includes automating goal management, optimizing resource allocation and capacity planning, and predicting project risks using historical data to enable proactive business decisions and scalable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a parallel team on ML initiatives from problem definition to production.
• Building and iterating on ML models using historical data (Jira, project metrics, team performance).
• Automating data collection and aggregation pipelines across divisions.
• Developing lightweight backend services and integrations (REST API, webhooks) to connect ML outputs to existing infrastructure.
• Validating business requirements and translating them into technical specifications where needed.
• Participating in experiments, measuring results, and contributing to decisions on whether to scale or drop an initiative.
• Collaborating directly with the engineering manager and business stakeholders.

Must-haves:

• Experience in AI automation engineering, software engineering, or automation development for 4+ years.
• Hands-on AI engineering: LLMs (OpenAI, Claude), agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, etc.).
• Workflow automation tools: n8n, Make, Zapier or similar.
• Strong integration skills: Python, MySQL, REST APIs, webhooks, API contracts, authentication.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with Jira data structures and metrics.
