AI Platform Architect (MLOps/DevOps)

Andersen is hiring an AI Platform Architect (MLOps/DevOps) for a project designing a scalable AI platform and enabling secure, reliable healthcare AI operations.

The customer is a global consulting and advisory firm that helps organizations improve business performance, navigate complex operational challenges, and support strategic transformation. It provides expertise across business strategy, operational improvement, risk management, and organizational change, working with clients from multiple industries through data-driven insights and multidisciplinary consulting services.

The project is focused on designing a scalable AI platform architecture to support a large-scale healthcare AI transformation. It includes defining target-state MLOps and DevOps capabilities, assessing existing infrastructure, and creating architectural roadmaps for secure, reliable, and sustainable AI operations.

Responsibilities:

- Assessing current cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational capabilities.

- Defining the future-state AI platform architecture supporting enterprise AI workloads.

- Recommending scalable deployment, security, and operational patterns for AI solutions.

- Evaluating technology options supporting enterprise AI operations.

- Developing architectural recommendations for CI/CD pipelines supporting AI development.

- Defining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards utilizing Terraform.

- Designing target-state deployment architectures leveraging Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Recommending model lifecycle management and deployment strategies utilizing MLflow.

- Developing recommendations for monitoring, observability, logging, and operational governance.

- Defining release management, environment management, and platform support models.

- Recommending operational standards supporting secure AI deployments.

- Producing implementation of roadmaps supporting AI platform modernization.

- Identifying technical dependencies, sequencing, and platform readiness requirements.

- Supporting architecture reviews and technology evaluations.

- Partnering with AI Architects and Data Architects to develop integrated platform recommendations.

- Facilitating technical workshops with infrastructure and engineering teams.

- Producing architecture documentation and executive-ready deliverables supporting implementation planning.

Must-haves:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

- Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture experience for 7+ years.

- Experience designing enterprise CI/CD architectures.

- Strong Microsoft Azure expertise.

- Experience with MLflow.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform.

- Strong automation and scripting experience.

- Excellent communication and consulting skills.

- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with GitHub Actions.

- Proficiency in Azure DevOps.

- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.

- Experience designing AI or machine learning platform architectures.
