Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our production environments.

Important: This is a position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). Candidates must be available to work during these hours regardless of their location.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in incident response.
• Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Apply DevOps best practices and drive continuous infrastructure improvements.

Requirements Core:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, like EC2, EKS/ECS, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related services.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.
• Experience optimizing AWS infrastructure costs is a plus.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
• Experience supporting organizations through security and compliance certification processes (e.g., ISO 27001).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Professional, etc.).
