Russian & Kazakh Language Teacher (Executive, In-Person)
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional language teacher who is fluent in Russian, Kazakh, and English to provide daily in-person language instruction to the CEO of a growing international company.
This is a long-term role focused on developing practical fluency in both Russian and Kazakh for business, everyday life, networking, and professional communication.
Schedule
- Daily (7 days per week)
- Either 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM or 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- In person
- Location: Esentai Apartments, Almaty
Responsibilities
- Teach both Russian and Kazakh during each lesson.
- Conduct lessons primarily in English while progressively increasing immersion.
- Develop a structured curriculum with clear milestones.
- Focus on speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and grammar.
- Prepare homework, vocabulary lists, and revision materials.
- Adapt lessons to the CEO's business, travel, networking, and everyday communication needs.
- Track progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Russian and Kazakh.
- Exceptional English fluency (spoken and written) — this is essential.
- Experience teaching adults (not children).
- Strong understanding of both Russian and Kazakh grammar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
- Comfortable teaching in a professional executive environment.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching diplomats, executives, expatriates, or foreign professionals.
- Experience with intensive language acquisition.
- Degree or certification in linguistics, education, or language teaching.
- Familiarity with business vocabulary and professional communication.
