The DevOps Traineeship at Andersen is an opportunity to dive into modern infrastructure and cloud technologies, gain hands-on experience with automation and delivery processes, and start your career in a team of professionals.

Applications are open in Kazakhstan: candidates from Almaty attend the program in-office, while participants from other cities across Kazakhstan can join online.

What we offer:

• 4 months: from your first day in the Lab to your first day on a commercial project.

• Full-time commitment — 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. An intensive format designed to help you quickly reach a confident Junior level.

• Practice-oriented learning. The training project closely replicates work on commercial products.

• A 1.5-year apprenticeship agreement. You invest your time in learning, and we invest in your professional growth.

Who we are looking for:

Aspiring specialists who see their future in DevOps, are ready for intensive growth, want to expand their technical expertise, and are eager to contribute to building reliable infrastructure, optimizing delivery processes, and ensuring the stability of modern software solutions.

Required qualifications:

• English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher;

• Solid knowledge of Linux OS;

• Experience interacting with relational DBMS and understanding of data replication principles;

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts;

• Understanding of software development principles;

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts;

• Basic understanding of cloud providers and their capabilities;

• Understanding of application containerization;

• Educational, pet, or test projects demonstrating your technical skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python;

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration tools;

• Technical background;

• German proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher.
