Responsibilities
- Teach English in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Deliver engaging, interactive and age-appropriate lessons entirely in English.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation skills.
- Create a positive and immersive English-speaking classroom environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments and other required educational documentation.
- Apply modern teaching methodologies, including communicative language teaching, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning and differentiated instruction.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments in accordance with school policies.
- Support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional academic assistance.
- Organise and participate in English-language events, projects, competitions and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Maintain accurate educational records and school documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, department members and school leadership to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development programmes and whole-school initiatives.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and teaching practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English Language Teaching, English Philology, Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Native speaker of English.
- Legal eligibility to undertake teaching activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of modern English language teaching methodologies.
- Experience using educational technologies and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
