Business Analyst

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst for a project modernizing banking solutions and improving scalability, efficiency, and management of digital lending services.

The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients. The company operates through an established service network and online platforms and is part of a larger international financial group, supporting ongoing development of its services for a broad client base.

The project is focused on modernizing and decoupling cash loan management processes within a banking ecosystem. It aims to improve scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency by separating core lending functionalities into independent services and streamlining loan lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing current processes in HIBIS / HIBIS POP (AS-IS).
• Decomposing monolithic processes and identifying candidates for extraction.
• Designing target processes (TO-BE) in Camunda (BPMN).
• Defining business logic and orchestration scenarios.
• Preparing requirements for development (user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Aligning solutions with business stakeholders and architects.
• Participating in designing integrations between Camunda and banking systems.
• Supporting the development team (clarifications, grooming, demos).
• Participating in testing (UAT, validation against requirements).

Requirements:

• Experience as a Business/System Analyst in banking or fintech projects for 3+ years.
• Understanding of HIBIS core banking system architecture.
• Experience in monolith decomposition / migration / service extraction projects
• Hands-on experience with BPM platforms HIBIS POP, Camunda similar)
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation and documentation (BRD, SRS, user stories)
• Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT teams
• Understanding of integrations (REST, Kafka, SOAP, ESB)
• Process modeling skills (BPMN 2.0)
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with core banking systems (HIBIS or similar).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with monoliths.
  
  The role requires working hours aligned with Central European Time (CET).
