Primary Teacher Assistant

Invento Uzbek International School (IUIS) is a modern international school delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes alongside the national curriculum of Uzbekistan.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our Primary School team and help create a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Teaching and Learning

• Assist the classroom teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons.

• Support students during lessons and school activities.

• Prepare learning materials and classroom resources.

Student Support

• Contribute to students' academic, social, and emotional development.

• Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

• Provide individual support to students when required.

Collaboration and Administration

• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff.

• Assist in organising school events, projects, and extracurricular activities.

Creating a Safe Learning Environment

• Ensure student well-being and safety throughout the school day.

• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Philology, or a related field.

• Experience working with primary school children

• Advanced Russian language skills; Uzbek language proficiency will be an advantage, and English proficiency at the B2 level or above.

• Understanding of primary education methodologies and child development.

• Proficiency in educational technology and standard computer applications.

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
