Mechanical Workshop Manager (Shop Quality Manager)

Arctic Group International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Workshop Manager (Shop Quality Manager) to lead our mechanical workshop operations responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, heavy equipment, lifting machinery, and company vehicles (Kenworth, Ledwell, JLG, Howo trucks, Manitou, CAT Loader, Grader etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanics and workshop personnel.
• Ensure all vehicles, trucks, cranes, and heavy equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
• Plan, coordinate, and approve maintenance and repair activities.
• Maximize equipment availability while minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, maintenance procedures, and Kazakhstan legislation.
• Inspect and approve equipment and vehicles for operational readiness.
• Coordinate workshop activities to support uninterrupted operations across all departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing mechanical workshops, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment maintenance operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, cranes, and industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Fluent English (technical) is mandatory.
